We respect your right to delete your Calorie Pirates account and the data associated with it. You can do this directly inside the app, or by emailing us
if you no longer have access to it.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app
This is the fastest way and gives you immediate confirmation.
1. Open Calorie Pirates on your device.
2. Sign in if you are not already signed in.
3. Tap the Profile tab.
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm when prompted.
Your account and all associated data will be removed immediately.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your account, email us and we will delete your account on your behalf.
– Email: [email protected]
– Subject: Delete my account
– From: The email address associated with your Calorie Pirates account
– Include: Your registered email address, and confirmation that you would like your account and all associated data deleted
We will action your request within 30 days and email you to confirm once it is complete.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
– Your sign-in credentials (email, password, Google or Apple sign-in linkage)
– Your profile (name, height, weight, goals, dietary preferences)
– Your food log history and saved meal favourites
– Your weight, water and exercise log history
– Your workout plans and progress data
– Your premium subscription record inside our database
What we may retain
For legal and accounting reasons, we are required to retain a limited record of:
– Billing receipts issued by Apple App Store or Google Play (held by Apple and Google, not by us; retention period is set by them, typically 7 years for
tax purposes)
– Anonymised, aggregate usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you personally
We do not retain any personally identifiable information beyond what is described above.
Cancelling a subscription
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Premium subscription. Subscriptions are managed by the app store you purchased through:
– Google Play: Open the Play Store → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Calorie Pirates → Cancel
– Apple App Store: Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Calorie Pirates → Cancel Subscription
Please cancel your subscription before deleting your account to avoid further charges.
